Looks great... How did you waterproof it?? I have laminate too and I'm terrified about... Even the water off our shoes.

All new towels. We finally realized why Airstream uses darker colors.

You might laugh, but when we remodeled we spent money on Egyptian cotton white towels and white bedsheets and plush comforter. We had the idea to make the Airstream feel like a plush luxury hotel room.

After a year of full-timing with kids, our towels and sheets just looked gross. Even our light colored floor needs cleaned like every other day.

Truth is, camping is dirty and dirt comes inside and kids compound it.

Bought rallie fees for my unit spring rallie WBCCI #59 and Region 8 rallie. Hoping Agnes will be ready in time. Had to have new axles, sub floor, outriggers, and shell back on.

Some extra electrons to keep the battery system charged.

Looks great PeterH-Airstreamer. Did you leave that prescribed 1/4" expansion gap? I am getting ready to do the same thing and trying to figure out the best way to do the gap or gap cover. I am not sure yet on the quarter round common cover.

It's a catch 22.
I already had purchase the real "Pergo", when I decided to make a test: I put a piece in water overnight and it swelled up badly. That is why I looked for a 100% waterproof laminate. I found NUCORE and I tested it as well and nothing happened overnight. It also claims it does not need to be acclimated prior to installation. They do recommend leaving a gap if you install it in a room. Trailers are just a few feet across. I just didn'tlike the weaker inter locking system of the NUCORE versus the PERGO
Long story short, I did not leave any gap and fastened the flooring all around the edges. Please do this at your own risk, I just didn't want to deal with a separating and moving boards.
Airstream installed the carpeting first and then installed all the furniture.
Try to remove as much as you can and it make your life a lot easier and you may not need any shoe molding in many places.
Check this contraption Airstream build to deal with their badly planned out piping system Covering it with carpet it easy, but making the Laminate look good, was a challenge

We put 3M non-slip tape on the back bumper (and bumper lid lip) of our 2015 Eddie Bauer bumper, because it could get slick there when stepping in and out of the hatch, and I never liked the metal-on-metal of the lid scraping the top of the bumper. We also picked up a set of the bumper caps now standard on the 2016s. Joe

We got a "little red" camp fire and 10# propane tank. Perfect for when we can't have a real fire!

Installed a 50A circuit in my garage. We store our Airstream in a storage facility but when it's home and we are packing / unpacking from a trip, running the air-conditioner is a dream!

Replaced the 26" Television in the living area of our 30' FC with a 32" Samsung and moved the 26" from the living area to the bedroom replacing the 19" that came from the factory.

My 26" TV on my 2016 Flying Cloud has RCA cables that were added by Airstream, allowing for sound thru the Airstream speakers. Did you modify your new 32" TV so that it will play thru the Airstream speakers?

Replaced Thetford with Valterra. Close under there so used a hacksaw and manually sawed the old off. Since the Valterra is longer than the old Thetford I am nearly back to the original length.

The Thetford was worn out. The tabs on the fitting worn on back side so when securing the dump hose there was not enough gasket compression.

Sawing was slow.. May have worked better with a wire saw. Those are ones for camping saw.

File the outside so you have straight sides of the dump pipe. Then taper the end to assist alignment.. But should be a snug fit because you should be able to fully seat before application of glue.

I did not, but it's pretty easy to do. What has to be done is remove the back of the 26" and disconnect the wires AS put in which attach to the RCA cables and then do the reverse on the 32".

I did what you asked on another AS and it's not hard, may yet do it, but might also put in a sound bar and wireless sub.

Bud

Sound Bar

I'm seriously considering the Yamaha YAS-105 sound bar due to the slim form factor and it will fix perfectly under the Samsung 40 inch 4K television that I just installed. Don't really need to have the sound from the front TV in the bedroom, since theres a TV back there.

The Vitrifrigo DP150i and DP2600 refrigerators arrived at the installer's location today. The DP2600 had a damaged door trim that the trucking company will get to pay for. The two Dometic/SMEV CU434 stoves will arrive at the installer's location by Thursday. The installer will have adequate time to inspect and make sure things are all in order before I get there with the first trailer in early May. While waiting for me to get there, he will be replacing both refrigerator's two stock door panels with magnetic stainless steel panels. He will use another piece of that same stainless steel to make a side splash to the right side of the stove.
