I have not bought anything in a while - just had a long weekend of boondocking in smokies with old friends and still no itch to buy anything - which is pretty nice

Your post inspired me to get off my duff and complete my own magnetic board, which I have wanted for some time because there are next to no magnetic surfaces in the Interstate (and I'm guessing the same is probably true of trailers). A before-and-after shot below, with instructions and sourcing in the blog post, including two caveats for would-be magnet fans.

Another roll of Supernight LEDs for the top of my belt line. I guess I need some goo-b-gone to get rid of the old sticky tape 😕

It was definitely the strip that failed at that joint. The underside of it was corroded together 😕

Odds are good this not a long term solution but for now - I'm ok 😁

Are you sure that is legal? Seems it could impair your vision and the effectiveness of your lights???

PROGRESSIVE DYNAMICS PD4655. I replaced the stock Airstream Parallax 7355 single stage converter/Charger with the multi-stage Progressive Dynamics 4655 converter/Charger. Honestly, I cannot personally say for certain that this was needed, however, I was convinced by many posts on AirForums, that in order to provide the best possible charging/battery care and conditioning, I needed to replace the single stage Parallax unit.

In reviewing the past charger/converters I had on my SOB 5th wheel and SOB trailer, I determined that they were multi-level chargers with specific programs to maintain the batteries. And considering that I never had any battery issues with those SOB RV's, I figured, why not?

The installation was simple, the instructions for the Progressive Dynamics 4655 were specific to replacing the Airstream Parallax converter/charger, and everything appeared to work properly after the install.

And the PD4655 is about the same price as on Amazon.com as a replacement set of batteries. So we will se how this works out!!

When I did the converter change out in the 25FB, I needed a "wire stretcher" for two more inches for one wire inside the new box. I managed to wiggle the wires all the way back to the other end and come up with the stretch.....

After 5 + years of having a finicky furnace, sometimes it would work, other times not fire. We just never know when it would work or decide to not, I bought a new mother board . It took about a minuet to remove the old board and another minuet to put the new board in. Tested and working perfectly. I know, waiting that long to fix something that easy sounds strange but we just don't camp when it is cold. Chilly, I can handle but cold, not so much. Also, worked on my solar panel and it is now working too. Now, we can boondock if we want too. Life is good.

Don't know.
I have seen others do it.
I've never heard it was illegal.
A different type of rack that lets the bikes rest lower would be better.
If I turn the green bike around it might be better.
I am open to suggestions.
I tried bikes in the pickup bed last summer.
That ain't it, either.
I don't like the racks that go on the back of the Airstream.
Maybe a bike rack over the propane tanks would work.
I think I want to continue in the direction I'm going, but get the bikes lower, especially the handlebar of the green one.

I like my Arvika over the propane tanks. It was the only solution for me having a Classic and its "classic" rear bumper.

What did you get for your Trailer today?

I like the over bottle rack, I just don't want to add tongue weight.

A 1/2" drive socket in 15/16" size so we can adjust the bolts on our Equal-I-zer hitch head any time we need to. Already had a torque wrench!

I just asked out of curiosity. For me it would probably boil down to my own driving comfort and safety. Pulling a trailer requires constant vigilance and a clear view of the road and/or obstacles ahead. And I would not want obstruct any of my lights that I depend on to signal other drivers of my intention.

And I cleaned the glue off the belt line with orange hand cleaner (cut through very well) and a magic eraser. Ready to install another strip of lights. And fairly confident they're not going to last more than a season 😳

I'll let you know after the weekend.
All those thoughts have gone through my head.
I still think a different rack that lets the bikes ride a little lower will be OK.
Just turning the green bike the other way will probably be better.
