A roll of shiny silver stuff to cut and put in the windows. I am trying to keep my curtains and shades from deteriorating on the sun.

Finally got the photos of the ZipDee chair cabinet we installed in our 2013 25FB International Serenity. We used the two colors of factory formica to match the existing interior in the Serenity as well as a factory cabinet door handle.

I bought snaps. I am replacing the bedroom privacy curtains which snapped to the wall. Finally found the snaps I needed to attach to my new fabric panels. they aren't quite finished because I still need to sew 2 hems, one side and at the bottom but they look so much better than the originals but only because the trailer had orange overload. I needed to bring in some cool blue. very happy with the curtain progress.

We got these wind chimes from Camping World with a coupon they mailed to us. They're hanging from the awning by our door and would make a great "doorbell" if we ever felt we needed one!!

Really nice job. I thought the factory just forgot to put the door on mine and was a bit puzzled when informed that it was not to have a door. Where does one buy the matching Formica? Jim

The Airstream dealer had to order full sized sheets of each color formica twice from Airstream to fix the first failed attempt and corrected by a second carpenter. This was a completely off the cuff design based upon some photos of the unit in a 27FB Classic.

My trailer got some good scrubbing and fresh paint on the banana wraps and tongue. The roof got some white reflective paint/sealer. While trying to tippy toe back to the paint, I ended up applying a wee bit too much pressure on the AC shroud and it disintegrated... sigh, so that'll be another update one day.

Taylormade-- we got a 78 31' Sovereign rear bath with painted banana peels. I painted them satin black-- sure do set off the trailer.
Your polish job looks better than mine.
Is the white paint on the roof to help keep it cool when the a/c is running?
I've never been on the roof of our trailer... let me know how the white paint works.
Hard to tell from teh photo, but what color is the strip on the side?
Nice trailer.

Last week, a South Carolina state flag to add to the flagpole, a new plug end for the power cable, new LP hold down bracket, new cabinet latch for one of the overheads, all new clearance lights, and painted the inside of the tail light housings. Yesterday, new heating element for the electric side of the fridge, a new door latch, and spent the day repairing a dent in the front banana panel. Another full day planned resealing the repaired panel and fixing an A/C drain leak. Spent more on repairs than I have on three weeks of vacation this month. Nothing like vintage Airstreaming!

Thanks Jim. Funny you mention the satin black (which is what mine are now), I started off with an elephant grey color and it just looked like I was sponsoring the Dallas Cowboys, so I got rid of it and went to black, even though I was born in Dallas and was raised to be a Cowboys fan (for the record, I became a Bucs fan when I moved to Tampa in 2000 and support them, as tough as it is sometimes). My stripes are a navy blue that I THOUGHT I really liked, but now I'm considering changing them up a little... haven't totally decided on which color yet however.
The paint is a roof sealer, yes, for heat deflection and quick/easy sealing of the seams and rivets up there. I wasn't up for the job of polishing the roof after spending a few hundred hours on the sides, plus I'm running the stock Armstrong AC still and it struggles mightily in direct sunlight here in Tampa. I can't get it below 84 in direct sunlight in the heat of the day.
I've read over and over again how the reflective paint will lower the temps by as much as 10 degrees. I'm skeptical for sure, but yesterday's first coat lowered it by 4. If I can see a total of 6-7, and keep it in the 70s, that's huge and well worth the ~$50 cost of the material.

I try not to look at this specific thread...Why? Two things happen with me. The first is once opened, its like watching a train wreck, you just cant take your eyes of of it. (reading and re-reading to see what others are doing / buying. Then getting the "I wants") Secondly, out comes the Visa card and a visit from the Fedex guy or gal. Never fails
