How do you plug in your trailer to it? Do you use a 30amp to 15amp doggone or something else. Thanks

What adaptor do you need? I thought the 30amp RV cord would plug straight in to the companion?

What did you get for your Trailer today?

High volume pressure regulator, Camco Evo water filter, water filter stand, and a woven polypropylene 9x12 mat that won't kill the grass.

What did we get for our trailer today!!

I added a Surflow water line accumulator which should reduce the of the water pump starting and stopping. The SHURflo 182-200 Pre-Pressurized Accumulator Tank, very easy to install.

I also installed door support on the bathroom upper cabinet and the little cabinet above the refrigerator. I purchased them on Amazon.com (Apexstone Door Lift Support Gas Lift Springs,Set of 4), easy to install and keep those doors up when we want them open. One on each door was enough....

I like the idea of the door supports. So, you got these? Apexstone Door Lift Support Gas Lift Springs, Set of 4 - - Amazon.com

Just checking, as I want to make sure I don't order something too strong (e.g. I don't want the door to lift open until I unlatch it and give it a nudge).

Thanks!

Swivel spray attachment from Home Depot for the Grohe kitchen sink faucet and a new toggle switch for the Barker tongue jack from Can Am. Now researching a hard plumbed water filter that will fit under the kitchen sink. Jim

New stained glass panels

Last year I made stained glass inserts for our vista view windows. I wanted to make sure the panels would stand the stress of traveling and do what we wanted so the simple, diamond shaped design on the left of the first photo were our test models. The panels did fine after 8 months of travel last year allowing light in while keeping heat out in summer and cold out in fall. Now I am creating an underwater, reef scene design to replace the old designs. We got the first of four panels done and installed today. The other 3 remaining panels will complete the scene with fish/coral/kelp. My wife wants to start calling the AS the Silver Submarine. It's hard to tell because of the backlighting but everything that looks clear is actually a light blue water color. I'll post the completed project but was really please with the way this is looking already so decided to post now.

Great look. Did you do lead or brass came or foil to put them together?

I've done full leaded glass in the past-actually took a class from an expert ages ago.

Rich, not just a ham radio weenie...

Yes, Apexstone Door Lift Support Gas Lift Springs,Set of 4. But i only used one on each door, there is an option to order just two. I do think that two on each door would be too much. On the bathroom door, it could be a bit stronger, but it does hold it fully in the up position. The door over the frig could be a bit weaker, but it does not pop open.

If you get them, look at the photos to see where I positioned them as it took me a bit of time to get them to work just right. I used the measurements that were on the package for the bathroom. For the door over the frig, i needed to place the lower support well back into the cabinet for it to work correctly.

I do not think they are too strong. They seem to be latched quite well, but we have not taken the AS on a trip yet, only over to the storage area, and they did not pop open on the way over there, and that is a fairly bumpy road.

Good Luck AL
