As a cross-reference to this, and also as a reply to Switz who mentioned the Yeti a few replies down from this original post, there is a detailed thread in the B Van forum on this very issue.

We concluded (I from experience) that it is possible to transport food in a Yeti and have it remain frozen for a week or more using water ice, and possibly much, much longer using dry ice.

In other words, there is also a low-tech option on this one. As one commenter noted near the end of that thread, "My husband thanks you as you may have saved us literally thousands of dollars."

Thanks for those photos. I was wondering if a new head would interfere with the aluminum roof bracket on my AS.

How's the reception vs the Winegard head?

Ordered this today, Wheel Masters 82286-S Spare Stainless Steel Tire Inflator extention 3' long so I don't need to lay down under the trailer to check the spare tire pressure. I'll probably just attach it to the A-frame or the steel box on the A-frame for easy checking and filling of the spare.

It that a real 60 watts, or is it the 13watt CFL, that gives out the light level of a 60 watt incandescent?

If so that what 90% of the bulbs in our house are.

I went from 11 to 18 channels perfect reception with the new head in my driveway. As you can see in the pictures there is no interference with the bracket on my trailer. If you have the same bracket it should fit fine.

Picked up some light fixtures from a fellow '69 owner and he had an original clock laying around that was removed from his. After a careful disassembly of both the clock and the barometer, I polished the brass pieces and cleaned everything up. After nearly 25 years, the front panel in my TradeWind is finally whole again!

Good idea.

I'll bet if you travel with a yeti, it would get pretty hot in the summer without a cooler.

Happy Holidays,
