Jack, the backsplash and counter top really looks great!! I also love the outside - not to mention the beautiful surroundings!

Out with the old and in with even older. Removed the front couch and replaced with my old but still very comfortable Lazy Boy.

Well tropic room is finally installed and up. Hardest part was emotional, drilling 22 holes for rivets and snaps in a perfectly good Airstream. Minimal blood was spilled in the last two days.

Larry - Can you provide a link to the LED lights that you purchased? I presume that you shopped around before ordering. Correct?

Marty,
Here's the link, I've bought from them before, the quality is good, and the service excellent. I bought the entire fixture, and they are great! The price of the fixture with two LED arrays was less than some of the bulbs only. Plus, it updated the interior light fixtures...

Thank you, Larry. Replacing the entire fixture, not just the bulb, which is more cost efficient.

What did you get for your Trailer today?

I spent all day yesterday re packing my wheel bearings. What a job. Not much new but three seals and lots of elbow GREASE! I am certain it was not done since new.

Michael, that's gonna be a great deal in all seasons. Keeps bugs out I bet. Are there sides other than screen for it? A wind break would be nice when it is cool. Sit outside under the awning out of the wind and bugs with a small heater in cold weather. Peace,Jim

It was time for new tires, so we went for the whole nine yards and got 16" rims and Michelin LTX

On the topic of LED lights, Skip of Phoenix kindly provided the follow link to an earlier post that described his replacement of incandescent bulbs with LEDs:

My first post, I hope the photo works.

I got overly excited about decorating our new 1970 Safari that still has to be rehabbed & bought the outdoor rug already. I couldn't help myself! $40 at World Market. It's plastic so its's perfect for hosing off for cleanup.

For now we can use it for picnics on the beach!
