We're picking up a gently used ProPride hitch from antsy3 in Anacortes today.

Going to replace the original converter, it just doesn't put out the power it used to. I've been warned about overcharging the batteries anyway. Killing 2 birds with one stone.
Finished up the install of the same thing about a week ago. Went well, no issues. Best thing is that it's silent, unlike the 9 year old Parallax. Less worry about ruining the batteries. Good luck.

The fan on our Parallax used to make noise. On the month long outing in Florida it came on a couple of times but by week 2 it was strangely quiet, despite the demand. I know the solar panel put out some power, but not that much. The voltage level never got above 12.7. I'm pretty sure it died. Even if it's just a fuse or something, I was told to swap it out, so I am.

I'm really glad to hear it was an easy swap. I found a review that confirmed the same thing so I'm feeling pretty good about it.

Fabulous Products SAM-1 range hood conversion

Restoring our 1996 34' Excella 1000, I found the range hood light was very poor, the exhaust fan was typical, not worth a tinker's damn.
I saw the article on the SAM-1 conversation in Trailer Life this month. I ordered on and got it installed today.

The conversion was fairly well, with a bit of metal work and help from Larry Milks and Jim Woods from Fabulous Products it took about 3 1/2 hours, it was reinstalled and works fine.

The new light is very bright and the 3 speed fan moves enough air that it will actually help ventilate the trailer if a window is open.

I'm impressed and am a happy camper.

We have left our Susie Q with Out of Doors Mart to have carpet removed and replaced with wood look vinyl. Install Fantastic fans and new Attwod stove, along with having our sofa reupholstered in leather from a nearby source. Metal carport for her protection being installed while she is away and then we are off to Mile High campground for a week. Life is good!

OceanAir shades

We bought two OceanAir shades to cover our kitchen and bathroom windows. They look so sleek and pretty in our 88 Excella.

Hi, we virtually never make reservations; In ten years of traveling, we only couldn't get a space in Astoria, Oregon. After going to, and calling a few others, we finally found a KOA who had a no-hook-ups place for us. So actually we still found a place without any reservations.

I just had the See-Level put into my 2014 under warranty at my dealership after 3 calibrations and 3 failures. A/S paid the whole shot.
