Hmmmm, mine fit with my 16s.....albeit barely. The tip could always be trimmed a bit, if needed. They work very well, EXCEPT on soft ground you my only get, at best 2" of lift. And they need to be 1" wider for a 225 tire.

Thanks for the image. Now I just have one quick question. Is there a particular reason when you put the screen on them? I'm asking because now you will have two screens on each unit don't you? One on the vent cover and one on the vent itself.

Thanks

Doug

In response to a request that I share a picture of our smoke colored Fantastic Vents with the bug screen inserts. So far we're very happy with them. Thanks!

These are ridiculously easy, innovative and even fun!! I'm at a gorgeous Army CoE site which is impeccably groomed and is slightly off level - dipping a bit on the street side. No problem! Level on the bumper, DW watching the level and a quick backup on to the levelers to EXACTLY the right place! No guessing, no pre-stacking Lego blocks and boards - just drive on them until the level bubble is good then slide the wedges under the opposite end of the tire. Could not be easier!

Do you think these will lift high enough to change a flat tire on a double axle trailer?

Yes, they have 4" of lift on a solid surface.

Excellent, thank you. Order is placed for them, should receive on Thursday. Going to the Mississippi Election Rally next week. They will get tested then.

RE Anderson Levelers:

I saw these at a local store today with a fancy display and little video showing how they work. They wanted 47.00 for them but I could not see how many were in a box as it was all taped up. If you need (4) that would become a little pricey @47.00 each.

Can anyone tell me how many come in a box?

1 per box...but I found then online for $37, IIRC. They are very well molded with a very dense material. They're kind of heavy.

Doug the box contains one of the curved pieces and a wedge. I also retired the leaky crappy bottle jack I had in case of needing to jack and replace a tire. Andersen makes a larger piece with the same concept for doing tire changes.

They are 1 to the box. Why would someone need 4?
$45 each delivered from Amazon with prime membership.

Thanks Gary - I'm not sure I can justify close to 200.00 worth of leveling blocks - it really does not matter how good they are.

Good question - the video I saw they used two on each side. But if you could get by with only 2 that would paint this in a different light as far as i'm concerned

You only need 2, and you don't need the "jack" one with torsion axles. There's enough lift with the leveler. So, you're in for $80.

The lynx levelers are only 10 per box for $37 on amazon with prime. So to achieve the same height you would need to buy two sets for one side. I think the others are right, you only need two, 4 might be over kill.

So that's a 16 dollar difference. I'd say probably worth the extra 16 for less hassle.
