It’s been 5-plus fun filled years, some 60,000 miles, new friends, favorite new places, a new truck, a bunch of modifications, a 13,000 mile trip around the US and we love our Bambi!
We wouldn’t change a thing. Not now anyway…
We’d been doing some winter tent camping in Ft DeSoto and it was there that I developed Airstreamitis.
Three years of winter camping and a bunch of “lets go to the dealer to look…” stops later and we purchased our Bambi International.
The decision to purchase was a bit of a whim based on the information that Airstream was no longer producing the 16’ International and that the one we were looking at was the last one on the east coast.
We are boaters first, sailing and recently a trawler are a huge part of what we are but our Airstream life is big and it continues to grow.
Who knew this was going to be so much fun?
We (my wife) have begun a new website of our adventures. Much of it revolves around our (new) Tug but the travels in the Bambi are there too. If you are bored…
