We've been busy......

with projects. I posted progress pics a couple of weeks ago where we enclosed the sink and toilet area of our walk through bath. (1). Here is a pic of the final install with 3 coats of poly. (2). We wanted more drawer storage and the main closet seemed to have wasted space at the bottom so this is our cheap and light weight fix. Gives us two 6 X 26 drawers with room for the blue bag and more. (3). Our AS came from the factory with the transverse mounted queen. We immediately changed to twins but never finished the cabinet work on the street side. This version is shorter (because of the TV) and wider. The door is on order from Rockler as I don't have the correct router bits to make it. (4). The TV is on an articulating mount. I used standard door stops for stand offs and a screw down latch to keep it from moving. No straps needed. The arm is supported underneath when stowed for travel. Real important since the back of the AS bounces a bit. (5). Some friends gave us an AS birdhouse. We converted it to a lamp for the bedroom. Other projects that weren't photo worthy were the installation of a Ventline vent fan in the newly enclosed toilet area, ran a new 120 volt line to the night stand and a couple of other mods to make living more comfortable. All in all, a productive couple of weekends.

The shell is 1/2 inch ply covered with a piece of polypropylene carpet from Walmart. If you look closely you can see the ply sides through the plastic bin. I didn't see any reason to carpet the inside of each drawer cavity.

And thanks.
