Talking We got to meet "Pick" this weekend!

I guess this could be considered a little off topic, but what the heck!

This weekend Tom and I (and our 2 Jack Russells) attended Top 'O The Caves Campground for an annual event we call Jackapalooza. I've mentioned it briefly before, but it's been a while. Anyway, it's a fun weekend where we meet up with folks who are owned by JRT's. We have some information sharing events, as well as tons of games, a raffle, and other fun stuff. It rained a bunch, but spirits weren't dampened a bit.

Pick (Mike) and his wife and their JRTs came this time, and it was so much fun to meet a fellow A/S person. None of our group has an A/S, so we didn't have any trouble locating one another, did we Mike?

Anyway, if you're in the area of South Bloomingville, Ohio, (AKA Hocking Hills) go visit this wonderful camping resort. They have full hookups available, too. The hiking is amazing, the prices are reasonable, and the owners of the place are very customer-oriented. They had so much fun with our dogs, that they bought two puppies from one of our breeders!! They're begging us to come back next year, and if I have anything to say about it, we will.

I didn't mean to ramble on, but just wanted to say "Hi!" to Pick, and to tell you all about what a great time we had at this wonderful campsite. www.hockinghills.com/caves.htm

Cherie

P.S. Hopefully, Pick will share some of the awesome pictures he took this weekend...hint...hint...

Hopefully, you and Pick might be able to make the next Midwest rally!

We had a blast at the last one!

Smile Hi, Eric!

Yes, wasn't that this month also? Seems to me we considered it, but with so much other stuff going on, we decided to pass this time around. But I'll be on the lookout next year for that same event and if it doesn't conflict with the one we just attended, we'll be there!

Cherie,

From the looks of it, the heat generated by the last Midwest rally has a good number of us considering another one this year.

Right now there is a current discussion going on. Where it leads, who knows!

Cherie, I posted a pic over at Airstreamphotos.com.

We had a wonderful time there!

That was one of the nicest campgrounds I have ever been to.

My wife asked me why your Airstream was shinyer than ours.

Cherie, John, yep! 30 years newer!

On fellow, setting out in front of his SOB motorhome almost fell off his chair when I told him it was 31 years old.
