Looks great! For WBCCI, it means "old baldy" is gone!. I think you will enjoy your unit. Having friends in the unit make all the difference.
I know you will hear this from others, but make sure you VOLUNTEER. Meeting people and becoming involved is key to the program. Also make sure you enjoy activities with other units. There are so many activities available, you will never lack for something to do.
Yea...I will have time to start doing things again here soon.Maybe something will happen in Nov.I am going back to Keys Oct 29th-nov 3rd.Then I will go up the east coast for a couple days and go surfing hitting St.Augustine last and then home.Maybe I will be able to meet some of the unit members on my way up the coast. If the time is right.
Hubby informed me that he took the plunge and joined WBCCI as an at-large member the other day.
I can't wait to get our numbers.
Welcome in!
As a MAL you can camp with any Unit. Please do so and you'll find a fun unit you'll want to join with. There is an incredible amount of friendship and fun to be had in a unit that fits your style.
Actually, as a member of WBCCI--either member at large or member of any unit--you can participate in any unit's rallies and caravans. Just wanted to clarify that. . .

Have not been there yet myself but from what I have heard Tennessee has a Great Airstream Park at Tennessee Cumberland Plateau Campground. $10.00 a night for members. Maybe this would be a good place to get your feet wet.
As for your membership at large consider switching to the WDC unit. We have members in 23 states and Canada at a dollar a year. If you want info send me a PM.
