Yes indeed. A true American hero.

Politics aside, John McCain is a hero. He didn't shirk his duty like someone we could name. He accepted the call. And any man or woman who survives POW status is an incredibly strong and courageous individual. I pray that he does beat this cancer.

I have 100 respect for Captain MaCain. He is a true American Hero. Unfortunately his current medical condition has left him in a confused state and has affected his judgement. I wish him all the luck in his recovery.

I honestly believe that politics are irrelevant when it comes to one's health. I figure most of us have lost friends and family to cancer and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. Prayers for Capt. McCain and family.

That was obviously everyone's first thought. When I watched it I thought it was a TIA. I'd like to believe the doctors were telling us the truth, but we know they can be forced to say exactly what the government tells them to. So we shall turn our attention to his recovery instead.

All of us have a built in expiration date. Cpt. McCain served in combat and in captivity with honor and distinction in Vietnam. At this point that is all that counts. This is not a time for judgement or condemnation.

We pray for him and his family that they have the best possible outcome and receive God's grace to endure this disease.

My niece has this cancer - She and her husband were told 2% survive two years. They went to Anderson Hospital in Houston, she is now in year 4, however, the operation and treatment have negatively impacted her. She has no emotions, none, seldom acknowledges her three children and is now in the final stages. We pray for Senator McCain.
