Here’s how I looked doing Flight Duty, on our Flight Deck.
During the evacuation of Saigon… Helos arrived with evacuees…

The helos were pushed overboard to make room for others to land.
Then we returned to Olongapo & an ice cold San Miguel.

Those were the days!

Please excuse my intrusion.

I am only an Airforce BRAT, born and raised. Dad was radar tech (Mom was accounting).

Wondering, if any of your Airstreamer kids, would be interested in creating a BRAT site.

My apologies, if I have offended anyone.

That's a GREAT idea lil' love vintage! My wife was a Navy Brat, her dad was a navigator on P-2 and P-3 Oriens. Growing up Military is definetly different, and in my opinion, good. Also, never feel as though dropping in here is an intrusion, we are just more family. LJH

Major, USAF still on active duty. We'll be full-timing in our 31 foot Sovereign for 5 months starting in January while I'm attending training in D.C. then I'm heading back to the Persian Gulf.

Thanks for your service and keep up the good work. Oh yeah, keep your head down.

P.S, Did you paint your Argosy yourself? I'm about to take the leap and would appreciate any tips. Thanks.

Thanks LJ for your warm welcome.

Correction required on my part, insofar as original posting. Should have read... "you or your Airstreamer kids".

I'm a baby boomer too.

Sorry for the long delay in my reply. We moved in between posts. We didn't paint our Argosy; it was like that the first time we saw it, even including the large silver G on the curb side. Our last name begins with G, so we figured we had to buy it. Did you take the plunge and paint yours?
