photobitstream,

having a "hog" for a bike, i have learned that it seems to have a natural liking for dirt!

i don't mind if it gets a little messy when i ride it. i just spray it down with gunk when i get home and hit it with the hose!

ride it to dry it!

good point about the floor height on the van. plus the security factor.

john

A buddy of mine hinged a camper shell on the left side on the back of his truck so he can lift it over to one side when loading and unloading. His Road King windshield has to come off (a 2 second job) to close it though. And my detachable tour-pak would probably be too high when mounted.

How does one fit a motorcycle into a pickup with a camper shell?

Laying it on one side, on a special platform?

The camper shell is tall enough that the motorcycle is vertical as it would be carried without the shell.
