"Truck Camper Jacks"

I'm interested in finding some older style truck camper jacks. I would like to find the kind which has a flat spot to lift under the camper if possible as well as a hand crank.

I want them to assist me when changing my fiberglass truck cap. I don't have a garage so rigging up a pulley & lift system is out.

Those fiberglass truck caps can really be heavy!

If you know of any that might be available you can send me a PM!

Thanks,

DOG GONE IT!!!

When I bought my AS a month ago I took all of the stove, fridge, lights etc. out of my old slide in camper and then burned the old hulk.
(Maybe you recall the post I made about it before the melt down)
I'm currently selling the items on Ebay.
There were 3 still good jacks like you're looking for but they were kind of old and rusty looking so I threw them in the trash and the garbage man hauled them away.
I thought about selling them but they didn't look so great. They still worked fine though.
But you know how it is: a guy can keep just so much junk around.
Being a guy who subscribes to the "Reduce,Reuse,Recycle" theory
I would have been Pleased to have given them to you for free.
Ah well, maybe next life huh?

I'm Still Looking" ......

...for some used slide in camper jacks. I found one used one and bought it today. I also located another one but I'll need to get back in touch with them later on.

Just thought I would post this up-date on the jacks.

I've always heard that "the squeaky wheel gets the oil"!

Well I've announced the need for the camper jacks and someone came through for me. A fellow co-worker was at someone’s farm and they offered him three jacks from an old camper that had been destroyed by some cows, (I believe that's how the story goes.) He asked him if he wanted them and he said no but I know someone who does. He then told him to take them. He took them home and then after getting in touch with me I went and picked them up.

Now I have the four and I think the project will work well to support the truck cap.

Thanks everyone for looking!
