I like that. I never thought of it that way.
Thank-you. I don't want to change it now.
"Fly at Night" will remain.

During the hot summer, with Reflective Bubbles in every possible window, the interior becomes dark (but not so cool). Reminds me of a cave, so my 34 became the AlumaCave.

The 16' international I began with was Brunhilde.
So naturally the 20' Flying Cloud I traded her in for is the B-2.

We are new owners of a 2013 Sport 16'. New to the forum; new to Airstream; new to camping with an RV. But really excited.
We were trying to figure out what to call it; the trailer, the camper, the Airstream, the little house on wheels just didn't work....and we haven't had our maiden trip yet ... so no inspiration there. But, now The Silver Bean or just The Bean (inspired by Chicago's Millennium "Bean") seems to have stuck.

Ours is "Mizzoo". My wife found her at a good price, so after begging the owner to hold her for 2 days so we could get there, we drove from Virginia to Missouri, bought the trailer, and returned home. All in one weekend. I did ask why she couldn't find one closer to home, but that was only the first of many long drives.

I think having a trailer named is VERY cool, and I love the names that many of my fellow 'Streamers have chosen. I named my trailer "SilverLeaf" -- the silver is obvious, but I am a retired Army lieutenant colonel...and as most everyone knows, the insignia for that rank is a silver oak leaf. Oh, and I also have a silver TV. (But that's no big deal is silver is one of the three most popular colors..)

Hello The Bean--we also call our AS The Bean--and for the same reason. We are just west of you in Forest Park (end of Blue Line). Maybe we should have a metro-Chicago "bean rally."

"Cloudsplitter"....Tahawus, Native American name for the Adirondack region of NYS, one of our favorite camping areas.
Air-Stream, splitting the clouds, just seemed to fit.

We moved on from the Argosy (the Beluga) so long ago. But just never had a name that stuck with the Safari. And yes, we had the same problem with naming our daughter -- nurses jokingly threatened not to let us go home until we had a name.
A name finally stuck this month - Amelia Bedelia after the children's book series. This name comes from all the 'misunderstandings' we continue to have but enjoyably work it out in the end.

Well the first thing we did several years ago right after we picked up our '56 Overlander whale tail was try to come up with a name. Of course we wanted it to be whale related in some way. The first one that came up of course was Moby. It was also the last one to come up. Sorry for our lack of creativity, but since we have started our shell off redo, I think it is time to make it official. Moby has stuck, and I love it.

When we called on the Airstream we saw on Craigs list the guy said to meet him at the Olney store in Oregon. We had never herd of Olney and thought he said Only. We thought to call it Only but settled on Olney cause thats where it came from.
I like Olney, not a great name but we will call it Olney
