I liked "Suite AS" but it didn't really catch on in my household...consensus...ours is a "Limited" so we call him "Ted" for short!

ours is mabel, named after the 93 year old lady who was the last title holder of record. ( i bought it sans title for a screamin deal but had to track her down) i live in oregon, the trailer was in washington and she lived in idaho! so it was quite a process.
she and her husband used to travel to mexico every winter and there are still stickers in the window.

I bought mine without a title, too. It was last registered in 1994 and I'm trying to get a bonded title now. I hope it all goes smoothly.

Our AS is Beatrice. After naming her, I found out the name in Latin means: "voyager for life, blessed". Made me feel pretty good. Now, we just need to see if Beatrice makes it through Hurricane Sandy as she is still at Colonial in NJ. We are pretty nervous!!!

The Silver Twinkie due to the "sleek" 1960 side profile :-)

After reading through this post it suddenly dawned on me that the process by which come up with a name for our Airstreams is similar to that of Native Americans! In my life I've named auto's cats, etc using that very same and simple yet time tested formula. Example; a child's name was reveled in many ways, dreams/visions, personality/characteristics of the person. Or they are named by what is happening around them at the time of their birth. For example, if a boy was born during a thunder storm he might be called an Indian name that means thunder.

I thinks that's kinda cool!

We call our 54' Flying Cloud "Peggy-o". What other name could a Deadhead call something so sweet

Ours is Aggie the DreamStream! Aggie for the Periodic Table symbol for silver, AG, and DreamStream for obvious reasons - she is our dream come true!
