Boy this is fun. Reading all you guys notes and ideas for names. Don't worry about a name. It will come to you like a bolt from the blue when you see your trailers personality. I personally like naming my 1973 soverign (SYLVIA) after the former owner. Best to you all.

I'm not sure this will fly, but I think I'll name mine "HS"

I JUST came back to Virginia from Michigan with my beautiful 1992 34'er.

I was passing through downtown Parkersburg, WV (don't ask).

As I came around a corner, I passed a cute little convertible, top down, with two cute little girls headed the other way. I'm not a lip reader, but as I came around the corner, and came around the corner, and continued to come around the corner, even from 20 feet it was easy to see one of them say "Holy S*^T".

So I guess it's my "HS A/S".

Tom

I named him "Al"

I have a 66 Caravel and since he's made out of Aluminum. I picked Al. Once he is restored I hope to get a vintage Bambi and call her Alice. ~Cheers

The first name of Al U. Minniyum just didn't roll of the tongue very easily so I've changed the name to Roadhouse. More suitable. I can't believe this one hasn't been taken up yet.

Now that I have a lovely new bride, it has been decided that "Lazarus" just doesn't sound good. We decided to rename our Sovereign "Alice", from the Honeymooners. Our marriage is going to be one nice long honeymoon, and we're going to spend as much time in our "Alice" as possible. Besides, we all now the Periodic Abbreviation for Aluminum is Al

Hey Tom that's a great campfire story.

The 59 overlander is "The Bat Cave Express" while under reconstruction. When done it will be La Bomba ..."Let's Go"... did I spell that right.... I'll a little changelled in the speeling department.

I haven't posted in a long time. . .

We've always named all of our vehicles, including our Airstream:

1985 Plymouth Horizon = Bob (short, sweet, too-the-point)
1987 Mazda pickup = Celia (pretty little thing)
1992 Volvo 240 = Katherine (a little regal and still running strong)
1995 Jeep = Fred (very practical)
2004 F250 Powerstroke Crewcab = The Beast (obviously) or the less preferred
name, Big Mama (if anybody ever really wants to make Mom mad)

and the 2005 25' SS SE LS = Roadsub (my son's choice because it looks like
a submarine)

Nickname

We will refer to ours as "the toaster". Now all our friends want to know how our "toaster" is and "when is our next trip on " the toaster!"

Bjoern,

I am currently drinking a Weiss to your health, and you can bet that I will take you up on that welcome mat! Actually, I'll be in France next month for a week, to visit my grandmother. She will be 97 years old May 15th, and my aunt and I are her only heirs, so I'm going there to discuss business. She did a lot of black marketeering, while your ancestors were going around the Maginot Line and got very rich
