I came up with a good one!!!!!

First I will have to paint my AC shroud yellow and paint the top of my traier white (I plan on doing that anyway) with a little brown around the edges.

The Baked potato !!!

What do ya think ????

That's a great one, till! I wish I could be as creative. The only thing that sticks is "my baby".

When we got home with our "new to us" AS MH, our little "wiener dog" kept staring at it like they knew one another. Therefore it became "the big silver wiener." Jim

Tedd, after seeing your photo of your trailer listing its way out of its parking space, how about "Titanic"? Kind of reminded me of the scene in the movie, "Raise The Titanic".

Our OVerlander was instantly named Ralph, because that's what we wanted to do when we saw the interior. He's keeping his name, because we're going for somewhat of a Ralph Lauren look inside when it's done.

Smile our new piece of work...

we'll be calling ours "Amelia" after the former owner's daughter. We figure that's a nice way to honor him/her since we'll be picking up the restoration where he left off before he passed on...we figure "Amelia Airstream" is pretty dang cute either way!

Trailer names

Earlier this year --(April 30th to be exact)we purchased a new unit I think, as it's been sometime since we have last been able to use it (May 15th to be exact) or seen it around home (June 14th to be exact). Anyway, I've been pondering a name for when it returns home. Some have said a name sometimes will just jump out at you. Well, not so for me. I have been wondering about in my thoughts & have come around to this conclusion for a name. Perhaps a President of any company, is so to speak, like a King. What the King says-- so everything goes, from the top down, etc. Following that line of thought then I also get the feeling that the King's horses could be perhaps a kin to the managers. You know, they carry the King's message through out the King's empire. If my assumptions are so, then the King's men surely must be the workers, getting the King's message via the King's horses. Using that format I proposed calling our "new" unit Humpty Dumpty based on the following reasoning;
Humpty Dumpty was once in our spot,
Humpty Dumpty had problems alot,
Could all the King's horses & all the King's men,
ever put Humpty Dumpty together
as it should have been?
The wife, bless her heart, has proposed a another longer name, but I've shorten & cleaned it up somewhat for printing here.
She simply calls it " That thing that was out there in the yard"

"New" 59 overlander is "The Bat Cave Express". Got it from RichardT in Bat Cave North Carolina and the trip home was a true adventure. Ending in a lightless streak across NJ, NY and Connecticut at night, up a restricted freeway in the fog.
When the moon is full, the fog thick, and the wind wild watch for the Bat Cave Express on a highway near you.

I don't know the size of our unit, but if if is a large unit, my suggestion would be Clydesdale.

Gypsy Belle. We are eagerly anticipating retirement during the next year, looking forward to time to roam the country and settle from time to time where we want without those endless "due dates" to hurry back home to pick up the routine again. We have license plates for our new truck: 2 GYPZS, identifying us. Sometime ahead, we'll renew our trailer plates with GYPZ BEL. The whole ambiance of roving appeals to us, plus she is SO pretty, she must have Belle as part of her name, in addition to the implied connection of "silver bell." Now, isn't it amazing the trips our minds go on as we name our trailers? By the way, we also think of our new dark red truck as Rosie, thinking of Gypsy Rose. . .well, you get the drift! Another thought before we get new plates for the AS, is Gypsy Wagon, since she carries us where we want to go, and when we snuggle into that rear bedroom with the curved walls around us, it really reminds me of the old pictures of gypsy wagons I have seen in photos. No hurry, she'll tell us in time just who she is.
