Trailer Life magazine

My RV storage neighbor told me I should subscribe to TL magazine because of the helpful articles and advice in each issue. He owns a newish 5th wheel. Does the TL magazine ever have any Airstream specific articles or are the articles general enough to be relevant to all makes and models? Anyone here a subscriber?

I have been a subscriber to Trailer Life for many years. It has many articles of interest to any RVer. There is information about RV mechanicals and appliances which re common to all RV's including Airstreams. It also has articles about RV travel destinations. I also like reading about all the new RV accessories.

I am also a very long term subscriber, like over 45 years. I find it very useful overall. It is somewhat pollyanna at times, only talking about the good and not the bad but still I like it.

In the late 60's (maybe 1967 or so) I even wrote an article which they published called "A diesel and a dolly" about the tongue dolly I put on our 13' Shasta trailer which we (my parents) towed with a 60 hp Mercedes 190 diesel sedan. I was young then, now I am old.... sigh.

Trailer Life is Ok. If you want more Airstream specific articles, perhaps a subscription to Airstream Life would work for you. You can see a sample issue on their website. http://airstreamlife.com/

Lin and I have enjoyed TL for the past three years or so. We're going to let it go this year. I flip through it fairly quickly these days, without a lot of interest, but that's just me.

Same here. I subscribed for several years but let it lapse. It's a decent magazine. But after awhile, there's only so much you can write about a travel trailer, and so the articles started looking a bit repetitive to me. They were still good though.

I got a few old ones last Spring when my grandpa died. He subscribed to it for years and years and years. I like finding pictures of my 1987 trailer in there in the ads for the new ones

I have been a subscriber for over 20 years. The magazine is general in its coverage, but does have items of interest for "crossover" systems, tech tips, etc.

After 30 years in the TV industry, camping and reading trailer "stuff" for over 25 years, I was going to let it go this year.......but they sent me a "last chance" offer to continue that was sooo cheap, I went ahead and kept it.

I have been a subscriber for several years. I am not going to renew as the Good Sam Club now includes several issues a year with membership.

I used to subscribe, but as my retirement grows closer, I've let all of my subscriptions lapse, except those I get as a member benefit for belonging to an organization like NRA or WBCCI.

I figure I will have time to hike over to my local public library (about six blocks from home) and read them for free, and if I see an article that's worth keeping, then I'll buy the individual issue that contains that article.

I subscribe. There's usually some things that are useful or interesting to me, and a lot of things that aren't. But it's a pretty cheap subscription, so I continue to get it.
