Total Weight & Tongue weight of 24' Argosy

Anybody know the total weight and tongue weight of a 1975 24' Argosy trailer?

From the manual the weights fro a 75 24' are:
GVRW , Factory weight, Allowable add weight
Twin beds: 5800 3610 2190
Double 5800 3620 2180

option weight:

A/C 113
Aux step 12
Auxwaste 70
Stablizers 60
Batt Charge 90
Entertainment 17
Safety 10
Spare tire 70
TV ANt 5


LPG tank (full) 30
Water(full) 248
Water Heater 50
Main Holding (full) 100
Aux Holding (full) 83


Tounge wieght should be 10-15% of total weight

I have a brochure for a 76 models, a 24 twin bed was 3610# dry weight with 560 #s tongue weight. The 24' double bed was 3610 and 560 also.

The published tongue weight is for an empty trailer.

The actual tongue weight is totally controlled by how you load the trailer.

You can make it lighter or heavier.

You should also travel with "full" water.

That lowers the center of gravity and provides a nice place to get water, in an emergency, or should you blow a radiator hose.
