Today's the Airstream Webinar 11:00 a.m. (EST)
Just a reminder! Anyone know what webinars are like?

My name is Jennifer Remling. I want to invite everyone here to join me on Wednesday (5/28) for an informal Q&A with Airstream CEO Bob Wheeler. With the help of Airstream, I recently started Carve Your Own Road (Carve Your Own Road <http://www.carveyourownroad.com/> ), an online resource that helps people redefine career happiness by fostering the entrepreneurial spirit…regardless of if you choose to start your own business or be more adventurous in your corporate role.

Yea, they are kind of cool actually. Maybe someone will ask them why the QC is trending down and what they plan on doing about the corrosion issues.

Who was the dummy that didn't mute their phone...umm...sorry.
Well now I know what a webinar is and it was pretty cool.
Glad I didn't miss it. Bob, Jennifer and the narrator did a great job as did the callers and online participants. Very interesting.
Who else was in?

I learned that if Christopher Dean doesn't use his full name it sounds like Christine.
Ah c'mon Jack tell everyone about it, it was interesting and good interview.
Laura my speaker and dogs were on early, the dogs with music accompaniment and last dog (s) were not. Seems the various dogs got plenty of airtime.
Seriously now, some one tell the folks how nice it was to hear Bob Wheeler talk about Air Forums and that they read the information, ...he did make a distiction between present needs of the owners and future needs of the company.
When the other caller mentioned Homecomings I was right with him. Miss those!!!!

I hope somebody sums it up better than I will remember. But here goes a little of it and it will be archived I assume on carve your own road.
Airstream is interested in making it fresh and catering to future buyers and watching market trends, ergo smaller lighter more green units. There are 300 plus workers at Airstream and they have the flexibility to try change, some works some doesn't but they can experiment to further Airstream.
One doesn't need to start or own a business to be an entrepreneur to drive innovation and become a success. Keeping transparency is what Jennifer and her husband strive to do in their business.
Me too Michael, ergo when nothing happened we dialed the number but didn't mute it and arrived a little late to the party! ARGH! So embarrassed... I typed a question if Bob Wheeler had any other entrepreneurial ventures other than Airstream and he answered in that direction but it may have been to another person's question that preceded mine.

I thought it was a chat thing as well, I waiting for about 5 mins,m then finally just called in. Carol, you pretty much got it! They went over how the Sports have been a very good direction for the company, and how being made by hand has really helped the company survive all these years.

I was there...
I took the call and followed the web presentation from the JC customer lounge...
Saw Bob Wheeler at lunch.... (no - I didn't eat with him, but I am staying at the Holiday Inn)
He was with a small group at another table at what I would consider the nicest and most expensive restaurant in JC....

Missed it. I was at work anyway, but I didn't get a chance to read the special newsletter that went out about it. When is/will there be the next one?
