I have an oportunity to buy a 79' 31' soverign for $2000. The problem is that it is gutted. I didn't really want a project, but this may be one of the few airstreams i can afford. Is this a good deal? Any help will be greatly appriciated.
Not worth it - will cost more to put into shape than buying one in decent shape for $4-5k that just needs little things that can be done as time goes along.
Of course if you were planning to gut and renovate anyway, that's another story. But if you want a trailer to use for camping I'd pass.
