Thinking of trading 25 FB for 30 FC Bunkhouse

Last year we purchased a 2013 25 FB CCD, and have loved every minute of camping in it. But as a family of four (8 and 5 year old kids) with a dog, we're finding the 25 to be cramped at times. And the routine of putting the dinette up and down every night to make sleeping space is really getting old.

We visited the AS dealer last week to check out a 2015 30' Bunkhouse, and the layout seems like it would be MUCH more conducive to our family's camping needs. Like many others, I'm concerned about the extra length, and not being able to access some of the NFS a and BLM campgrounds that we enjoy here in the Pacific Northwest.

So I'm looking to the collective forum wisdom for more insights on this upgrade. Has anyone made this particular trade before, and what were your likes, dislikes, and surprises about moving into the Bunkhouse?

We don't have a bunkhouse, but we do have a 31' Classic.

Towing is not much different, gas mileage is about the same, backing is pretty much the same.

You're only talking about a few more feet. Yes, there might be a few camp sites you can't get into, but you probably wouldn't have liked them with your present AS anyway.

However, a few more feet on the inside can be a really big deal. More room, more storage, and more livability (is that a real word?) including bigger tanks.
