Unless I get some feedback that people want this annoucement, this will be the last time I post show releases here. They come out every other Thursday so you can check it out at www.thevap.com. I would suggest that you subscribe, its free, and will make sure you never miss a show.
I know Colin (we worked together on Vintage Thunder) and very much respect him. He is quite an Airstream authority and I understand business has picked up for him. This is a great testament to his abilities in the Airstream restoration world.
Your pod cast is very informative and I "enjoy the show".
If you want to hear first hand from the man himself on TRAILERITES - you!, then listening to the show is a must. Happy Holidays everyone!
Rob

Tim, I appreciate the reminders. I just got an Ipod so its fun to listen when I'm on my daily commute to work. While I have Itunes set up to download the podcast, you are my trigger to actually do the sync with the Ipod.

Boy do I feel out of the loop. I just went to listen on my computer and loved the interview; however, I neither have an Ipod, nor am I completely sure what they are. I think technology is passing me by at a dead run. I spent last night trying to get my laptop to pick up my home wireless connection. (Didn't ever work) I had to call my granddaughter's boyfriend to help me. Now that's embarassing. Still didn't work. Loved the broadcast on my computer. Please keep reminding us. Some of us need all the help we can get.
For those of us who are far trailing edge types when it comes to new technology, just think of your Airstream as your "pod". Mention it to young'uns but only very briefly, noting it is silver, portable, wired and can be filled with thousands of tunes. Then quickly move on to a different topic we unhipsters are comfortable with, like Medicare or presecription drugs.

You all are funny. My pod is cream colored. Not all of us are silver you know. At least I think I remember it's cream. My eyes aren't what they use to be, better go look. Now where did I put that big round thing?
Too funny! Juel, everyone who travels in a tiny little pod should have an ipod. It lets you carry your entire CD music collection (and anything else you can pull off the 'net) on a little gizmo that fits in your pocket. Of course, if most of your music is on vinyl records or 8-tracks, it might not be so useful for you (Fred)

http://www.digitalrv.net/webcast/ When you get to the page select "mobile tech reviews" Then there is an article about Ipods. This is from the hi-tech gadget writer that writes for Airstream Life.

Juel, your cream color is only skin deep. We are all silver underneath.
If you don't post notices I'll never remember to go there.
By the way great show. So sorry you were all upstaged by the one, the only, Wally Byam.
Just in case someone new is going to tune in and try it, I think I should warn them to stay for the second half. I don't know where you found that show, but I was duly impressed!

Let's see. "lets you carry your CD music collections with you" That would consist of CCR and oops, that's it. I did buy my husband the Eagles Farewell Tour, oops that turned out to be a DVD, my mistake. I also bought Paul McCartney from Red Square, oops that turned out to be a DVD too. I tried to play those things in every CD player we have before I got the hint. Maybe I'm not ready for an Ipod yet. I'm dynamite at renovation, that should count for something if you're listening Santa.
