Hey, Wallys the man! I love how he mentioned the amenities of the trailers, including a kitchen for the little lady to cook for him in Did anyone catch what year that interview was done?

We are pretty sure it was from 1954 based on the advertisments in the Talk of the Town.
Thanks for listening!

I really enjoyed that. They were at the Calgary Stampede, having come up through Glacier National park as he mentioned St Mary's (Waterton National Park on the Canadian side). I wonder if they went over the pass (Logan if I remember right - highway to the sun) or around it. I didn't realize they were doing caravans as early as 1954. Very neat. Thanks for this. I listened to 8 and 9. Barry

The Today Show!
Barry,
This morning, on Dec 26, the Today show is doing a iPod 101, and how they work. Maybe you can catch it.

Thanks Rob. When I mentioned to the techies at work I'd not even held an iPod it was like they'd struck gold. For the price of lunch next week I get to sit around with sandwiches and get "ramped up", as they like to term it. I've had a Blackberry sitting on my desk at work as well but not used it to their chagrin - my feeling is the easier it is for work to find me the harder it is for me to have a life after hours and on weekends. So the guys are intending to initiate me with it as well. Drat! There just isn't any hiding any more.
Take care. Whether I like it or not I'm about to be tech'ied.

IPOD??? Huh, I've got a Treo 650 with a 1 GB SD card. It plays my MP3's through the stereo ear buds. It also interupts when an incoming call reaches the phone side!! Ipod's are great but I want more from my digital devices....
I for one appreciate the heads up on the podcasts though.

That's cool. And it shows that you do not need an iPOD to listen to theVAP!
In fact, most people listen to the show on their computer. The easiest way is to just click on the Listen Now button on the website.
IPods are fun though and make it easy to listen where ever you want.

Other than an iPOD
Glen,
I use my TREO 600, in the same way! Works great. I plug it into my VR3 FM modulator in the truck, and listen to the show through my truck stereo. Works great!
Glad everyone is enjoying the shows!
