There is Just something about COLDER weather..

I bought my 2010 Int'l In February of this year and LOved it. It actually saved us when we had no power during a snow/freezing rain scenario at the house. It was our lifepod for 3 days!

We camped in the Stream till right after June <Key West Trip>and it starting getting too hot.Didn't use it much at all during the Summer,.. Couldn't because of jobs and time travel to a cool enough spot. Too hot for fires at night,.just BLAH!!... So here comes the cooler and colder weather. Makes me feel like everything is new again, I love this weather. This time of year,...even the dreaded condensation inside the windows, Can't wait to put it use all over again.

I dislike theses hot Texas summers. Love the Winter.

Just sharing some thoughts.

Stream safe.

Shane

Long live the life pod! We like cool weather camping too. Never did much summer camping, early spring and late fall and even a few winter trips were perfect in the Airstream. We like to avoid the crowds, the bugs and the heat as much as possible. We had last Thanksgiving dinner in the Airstream at a state park in the woods along the water and the weather was perfect! Even the dogs seem to prefer brisk temperatures. They get all animated and frisky. When you get out post more pictures. We always enjoy them.

I love it all. Winter camping has a different feel to it, certainly, but I enjoy it just as much as camping in the spring/summer/fall... An old column in the "Blue Beret" once said, "Non-use is misuse!"

We are planning on spending some time for both Thanksgiving and Christmas in the Stream. I'll even be cooking my dressing and apple pie in it. We'll have to see how it goes... one thing is for certain, I need to get the wall cover back up.

I am thinking of heading north for the summer! Trying to get the A/S cool when unhitching in the afternoon is hard on the dogs!!

It's great to be able to turn off the AC and open the windows for us fulltimers.
