Thumbs up The New Airstream Arrives today

I gotta tell you...
I was just as excited about the 'New Airstream Bambi' ,as if it were the real thing~!! Thanks for the link...Shari~!
This is the Diecastmodel #MCC92005. It's all "stainless steel" and, it's very, very nice in all details..
I'm just amaze'd that it's as large as it is~! (1-18 scale)
I'm gonna keep this in my A/S when I get down to Va Beach, later this month.
Okay..Guys and Gals..If you haven't ordered one yet..You might want to consider...
I'll gonna have fun setting up my A/S with my model train set...lol
ciao

Thumbs up Fer sure

Yes, it all made out of stainless steel..
(I should say, that's what they claim..but, I haven't taken mine out of the box yet..So, I can't honestly say "yes" for that reason.)
The wheels are even covered with "moon caps", plus..underneath...you can see the leafsprings...
The only thing that would be neater~?
Is if the running lights WORKED..
No worries abt leaks, rotten floor, etc...lol
Now all I gotta do is find a Black SUBURBAN~!!
ciao

Pretty cool huh!

You may also want to check out this thread for other "mini-me" Airstreams...I've collected them all except for the Franklin Mint one...I'd rather put that kind of money into finishing Maxwell first!

It's not a '95, but it's a 1:18 scale black Suburban

Thumbs up Kewl

Shari
Thanks~!
I've checked it out and, it looks perfect~
You're right, it's not a '95, nor is the interior "red" like mine.
but~I like it ~!!
I don't blame you abt the Franklin Mint~I totally agree~
Has me wondering just how the two would compare, side by side.? (Noooo, not that much~ lol)
I was really surprised and, impressed at just how much workmanship went into this~ for 39$ plus 7.45$ for shipping..
Not bad at all..
Thanks again for your help~!!
ciao
