Lightbulb Original Concept

Once in a millenium something comes along that, just "SHOUTS ORGINIAL"~!~
In all of history, there'll never, EVER be another AIRSTREAM, nor the same group of people~!!
My favorite thing about Airstream
Everytime I open the door to enter, it's with this thought.
"We are but, keepers of future dreams.."
ciao

I love my airstream

When I look at my airstream..........it absolutely SHOUTS out to me..."Go see the USA, go on a trip, be proud of your heritage, you need a vacation!!" Owning an airstream has opened so many new doors with so many new friends! And my favorite part of owning a vintage airstream right now is the fixing it up! I really enjoy returning (or trying to return it ) to it's original glory.

I have to agree. I have visited web sites of other RV's and have been inside many, at RV shows, and think some of the new interiors are really gawdy. You feel like you are in someones apartment in New York City, not out camping somewhere.

Livability, comfort

After spending several weeks travelling in our A/S Motor Home, we came to feel like it was a real home away from home, not just a camping vehicle. We are also thrilled when people express their impression of beauty and size as being awesome. There is just nothing else on the road that catches attention like an Airstream.

I'm brand new to my 1960 overlander.
What seems to stand out the most about owning an A/S?
The nicest people who own one and are willing to help you with any problems you might encounter when fixing one up.

When we take her on a trip, or just sit in it at the house, it lets us escape into the future or the past.....and it's a great conversation starter!

Rod: I'm with you. I've never met an Airstream Owner that wasn't friendly and helpful. Some even volunteer to come make a repair if it's needed. You can't beat that!
