The dreaded falling limb!!!

Well, I had two today in the strong winds....one missed and the other grazed it.

It buffed out!

Darn nature anyway!

Of course I reserve the right to be pissed beyond belief should the limb had taged my coach!

how about the whole tree?

eric

yeah that sucks!

about 2 years ago half of a 100 foot tall hackberry tree in my back yard broke!

it almost took out everything i like but my house.

landed in the nieghbors tree, fourtunately only brushing my trailer and truck!

if the nieghbors tree hadn't stopped it from falling all the way it would have taken out my barn, harley, truck and airstream in one fell swoop!

about 2500 bucks and two days later it was gone. firewood and chips.

now my tomatoes get a lot more light!

I try to park my trailer on a level spot in the side drive. ( allows the frig to cool a day before we pull out)
Unfortunately, there is a walnut tree that projects over the rear end. I moved the trailer the other day due to the size of the walnuts this year. no dents yet.

Hmmm. Walnut, you say? I'll be right over and trim some limbs off -- I love to turn Walnut.

(one of many hobbies: woodturning.)

Y'know, Eric... if you'd had Bambi out of the driveway and in a park somewhere like it wanted to be, IT WOULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED!!!

Yea, I know. But, the other toys were complaining that I spent too much time with the Bambi. They're just like kids!

We once looked for "shaded" rv sites; we no longer do that. Never did that with our previous rvs. Sites out-in-the-open are now desirable.

Smile

I just caught that pic and post John. Really puts my little twig that fell into perspective!

It may just be me, but there seem to be an awful lot of hail warnings this year.... maybe I notice more now that we have the Bambi!
