The day the Airforums stood still....

Ok, so I must be way too talkie tonight, because as slow as I am pecking away at my IPad screen, my name should NOT be listed on the two most recently posted threads!

Which got me thinking: what would we do or think if the last post occurred hours ago? What if you had posted a question, and nobody responded, and it was still the last (or top) post?

How many of us have become dependent on the forums as a means of social outlet or entertainment?

I know that when I'm not working I check in here a few times each day just to see if any new topic posting gets my attention. I really like to see how others are fairing on the quest to maintain their A/S. Reading up helps me every time I go out to the trailer. Plus it help pass the time. Ed

I personally try to stay on top of the forums, as it were, otherwise I have way too long a time to try and sift through everything and catch up on the New Posts tab...

I have the forums app on my Android phone, so I can follow new posts to threads I've subscribed to just by opening the app on my phone... so I check the forums WAY too often.

Nights like tonight are even worse than usual... my partner's working swing shift at the ER so no one's home to tell me I'm a nerd for following internet forums on a Saturday night!

I'm checking for updates at 1:30am!

Yes I'm addicted, but I accept that.

This is too funny. There is another thread on here about Facebook. And while I do have Facebook and it serves a purpose (for me). I truly enjoy the forums so much more. I think it is because it is not only a social networking site, it is "SO INFORMATIVE". 2 or 3 times a week I look at a post and go "I didn't know that!"
Yes...count me in as addicted.

I ditched FB because I wasn't using it. I'm on several (my wife says too many) forums, both general and brand-specific. I generally hit 3-4 each evening, usually a couple of the brand-specific ones and 1-2 of the general ones.

I also read some of the older threads that catch my eye. It is amazing what one can learn in a few minutes by following a thread from beginning to end.
