The Aluminum Anniversary

Today is our 20th Anniversary. We were married in Yosemite. After many years of airstream dreaming we just recently bought the 25' EB as our Anniversary present to each other. And a truck. And most recently a WD hitch.

We've been referring to it as the "Aluminum Anniversary."

BC and Mo.

PS -- I know I know... no pictures yet. We are getting it all dialed in (TV, hitch etc) and are looking forward to taking our maiden voyage very soon. We'll rectify the picture situation soon.

PSS -- I read that Yosemite only takes 23' trailers but you they won't turn you away unless you hang out of the spot. Any wisdom on this?

What a wonderful gift to give each other. Our purchase was largely done aling the same lines. We wanted an escape for just the two of us and we have been married 30 years. Enjoy. BTW we have a 25 and we will be in Yosemite this year as well. Not sure time wise, but I have been there many times tent camping and have seen lots of bigger trailers there.
Hope is not a plan.

You could always tell them "It's a 24" and hope.. I know they used to be less critical before one of the campgrounds closed for flooding.. I'd try to negotiate your way in, reminding them that trailer alone is easy to maneuver (practice backing up first..) and with truck separated it will fit into almost any of their spaces...

Congratulations, and enjoy the new home on wheels!

In Theory, there's no difference between Theory and Practice, but in Practice, there is usually a difference...
