Thanksgiving victuals in Aluminum kitchen?

Just wondering ...

Is anyone planning a Thanksgiving bash in the their trailer?
Any brave souls cooking a full turkey dinner in that pint sized (but perfect - of course) kitchen?

Are you insane..... I heard that no one cooks in their Airstream.

There are three things in a vintage Airstream - one the Couch will be missing, the cooktop will be rusted out and three the Oven will be spotless

Our Oven played the role of furnace our first trip - but we did get some use out of it on our summer Holiday - but honestly, to cook a turkey - nope - maybe a couple of cornish hens

Happy Thanksgiving - play safe.

Impossible

Turkey day kind of got out of hand this year. It started out small but at last count we will have 16 people and it may grow to 20 tomorrow at our house.

I can tell you that when I was growing up, the camper saved Thanksgiving a few times. Seattle was hit pretty hard with extreme winds that knocked power out. I don't know why this always seemed to be around Thanksgiving. So, you can actually cook a Thanksgiving meal in a small camper oven and on a stove top.

Thanksgiving

Fulltiming, so before we headed South we had 6 in the trailer for supper(many weeks ago,Canadian Thanksgiving is first weekend in October).Jan did buns in the morning,7 lb turkey in convection/microwave oven, and the rest on the stove. Worked out fine. My mum is 85 so we sat her at the dinette and we served her, daughter and son and his girlfriend sat at the the fold out tables and served themselves buffet style. A lot of fun. Would have been easier if we had of had good wether and been able to get outside

Nope, had to leave Airstream One at home. Now stuck up in WV in the snow bored to death..... just back from dinner (Japanese) and the only thing left to do is check in on the forums!
The best I could do in my rig would be via the microwave as I didn't get the full galley thanks. Fridge and microwave that's it.
Mind you the only way I really want to have turkey anymore is deep fryed......yummy.

well not this year

Just to be different we have decided on pizza this year! But last year our first Thanksgiving with the Classic, we roasted a turkey breast for the two of us. We use our AS oven often, for toasting, baking, broiling, reheating, and of course storage. : ) There was even a time we set the oven on and burners boiling water, just to bring up the temperature a bit in our SOB when the furnace unexpectedly conked out. Boy was that time ever cold! I wouldn't want to do without a conventional oven. But when we have shore power, I love my microwave!!!! Happy holiday, everyone. Don't forget to save that wishbone.
