Tentative Departure Date!!
We're leaving (possibly) on June 11th to head out to Wisconsin to pick her up...the countdown begins!
My husband is even going to...SKIP A SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT that weekend so we can leave early and enjoy the ride a little more. I didn't even ask him to!!
just had to share that.

Great news, Ingrid! Now to see if you two can get her ready for the Laguna Seca Rally. Sure can't wait to see it. Post some pics when you get home.

Everybody please do me a favor and close your eyes for a second, and imagine me on the road towards Wisconsin on June 17th. Surround me with a white light or something just for good luck. It just might happen.

Done
... and don't forget that you're quite welcome to stay here. The cats & dog might be a drawback but the cleaning crew keeps the house pretty much free of hairballs. And there's a pool ...

stuff
Ingrid, mailed the manual today, should get to your house late in the week. Also, after you access the trailer, if you need some fixup stuff let me know. I have window weatherstrip, the glue, two new in box LED tailights, Intellisync (if your Univolt does not work) still in box,... I'll give you a great deal since it will be used on a brother 1967 Tradewind.

I will probably take you up on the taillights, even though the ones on the TW work, they're not the originals, are the ones you have the round ones that are original, or at least original "looking"?
The rest keep me in mind still because we won't know much until we get to the trailer. The windows are all intact and it's been raining in Wisconsin, but we haven't been inside so who knows if they leak or what.
Thank you once again for the user manual, very comforting to know we'll have that. It will most likely get here before we leave so maybe it will help us set up for the tow home.
Thanks Summerkid, we also have an offer from some former Californians that now live in Sun Prairie (I think). Just got back in touch with them. I'll post to all and let you know how it's going on the road, there, and on the way home. I'm beyond excited, I don't even think about it anymore in case it doesn't happen...is that sad?

Looks like next week now, a client can't pay us until he gets back from out of town next week. We weren't really ready anyway, but...it sure would have been nice to know we can go now!
No more posts on dates from me until we're about to leave!

What is an Intellisync? We're going to have to learn these things because we may want to re-do our Univolt pretty soon..
(we have a '67 Ambassador)
