Stolen 1974 30foot Airstream
I am writing this for my sister. Friday October 17,2014 around 2:30 pm my sisters Airstream was stolen from her property at 19920 Gardner RD in Gardner, Kansas. She currently can not find her title. All she has is a serial #131T4J2242. This number is located below the front window on the right as you face the trailer. The trailer has set for over 30 years and the interior is shot.
I initially listed it on this website as a 1975 when I registered. I currently do not know how to edit that item.
My hope and prayer is she will be able to get it back. It was given to her by our Uncle who is passed away. It has some sentimental value.

Don't mean to ba an alarmist but with a shot interior and sitting for 30+ years you might want to contact metal recycling depots around your area to be on the look out for large amounts of aluminum sheeting coming in.

Thanks for the recycle info. My sister has some pictures. I will contact her. By the way, the truck seen taking the airstream was about 1994-1995 Chevrolet Pickup, 4WD. extended cab, two tone white/gold (on the bottom)

The tow vehicle is about a 1994-1997 Chevrolet pickup truck, 4WD,extended cab, two tone- white over gold.

Get the info out to folks who go and see places off the beaten path. Meter readers, postal delivery and VFD's. 30 year old tires might mean a tire shop too.

Titles are issued by the state DMV. She can go to her local DMV and request a duplicate title. This will at least prove ownership if it should happen to be recovered.
