Stained Glass on Front Window

I am thinking of puting stained glass accents around the perimiter of the front window of my Airstream. The kind you get in a kit from Wal*Mart. Has anyone tried this?

We have been very successful with a large round cut crystal set in a leaded pattern (just a bit smaller in diameter than the height of the front window. We simply got four clear medium sized suction cups with hooks on them. I placed them at 2,4,8,10 on the circle and bent the hooks to allow the frame to sit tightly. Although we have not wanted to temp fate by traveling with the piece in place, we simply remove the top two suction cups, slide the piece out and then upon arriving just put it back. As tight as the suction cups hold, I actually think it would travel just fine, but again it is not worth the risk. I did look into a more permanent installation, but decided I wanted to avoid drilling into the window frame.
