St. Louis RV Show

The St. Louis RV Camping and Travel show will take place at the America's Center Convention facility in downtown St. Louis from Thursday Feb. 19th through Sunday Feb. 22nd.

I just went down to the exhibit halls to check out the Airstream offerings. Bill Thomas has brought down a 30' LandYacht S.O., an Interstate and the following trailers.

16' Bambi, 22' International CCD, 25' International CCD, and a 30' Safari LS with the front bedroom and rear bunks.

Those of you looking to see the LCD tv will see one mounted on the wall in the Safari, and I also noted that the Safari LS had double step (not the aluminum), something that has been needed for a long time. I wonder if this step could be retrofitted to other Safari's?

I'll get a picture or two up Wednesday night.

I'll be manning the WBCCI table Friday night from 6-9 PM. Come on by and say hi!

I would love to see some snapshots of the 30' Safari. Particularly the shell around the bunk areas and the bunk areas. Also Jack, if you'd like, I'd be happy to host any of the pictures on my website.

Hi Jack: Did you get a close look at the 16CCD on the inside? What was the sticker price? Thanks for posting the pictures and info.

That 16' unit was a Bambi which lists for about $35,000+.

I see from the pictures that the 16 CCD does have a small awning attached ... I know there was some talk in other threads about the 16 CCD not being available with an awning.

Perhaps a look underneath at the LP line would be interesting? (The problem of the line riding on the stabilizer jack was reported to be fixed by the factory after we (AS owners) brought it to their attention).
Our 16CCD was 'supposed' to have an awning. It was on the paperwork, but it didn't arrive with one. We heard several (now bogus) reasons why it didn't have one.

All I can say is WOW and thanks for the pics.

That 30' is a gem. The only concern that I can see outside of the captains chairs (think I'd go for the sofa option instead), is the bar that connects the upperbunk to the roof truss. Other than that, even not being a front bedroom fan, I really like the 30 and it's setup.
