Sounded like some deals to me....

I was at Colaws RV salvage today, getting some trim pieces and both front banana wraps for my ongoing restoration, and could not help but notice the large tent set up on the grounds.

They are having a large tent sale this weekend. A couple of items I spotted that might be of interest are LaFuma recliners - both mesh and cushion - in a couple of colors at 129.95 less 10% ($117). They also have Coleman 13,500 btu ac units, new, in the box, at 499.95, also less 10% ($450). James said he also had new, but reconditioned Coleman ac units with heat strip for $399.

It also looked like they had cornered the market on tank cleaners and chemicals, but I really did not have time to look at much else. If you are up that way on Sat., they have free hot dogs, drinks, and a bluegrass band.

Oh, he also just got a '76 Airstream to part out, but I did not see it.

This is the Colaws RV salvage on I-44, not the regular dealership in Carthage, Mo.

No 60's models. Quite a few 80's and some 90's. And the one '76. I expect them to get another 70's unit or two. James said he had not realized the demand for parts from that period.

They will ship you an AC. They are on the web at http://www.colawrvsalvage.com

Not sure. It was on that salvage yard website.

My guess is that it hit something while being towed by the way the nose was crushed and the rear body buckled. There are also signs of huge body flex on the roadside rear.

Real sad...only a 2001 too.

I wonder what those rectangle openings are on the rear. I've seen that on a few older (early 2000) units.

If I am remembering correctly, I got the city water connector off that Bambi.

The one that is even sadder is the 34' slide-out that was totaled before the paper stickers wore off the tire tread! It is about three trailers down from the Bambi. I got the shocks off that one.
