With four kids, we have sun showers. I bought a tent shower room for it too. It's big enough for me to get in with all the kids. When it's not warm enough to heat the sun shower up I boil water and just pour it in the sun shower.

Problem is Zion NP wants a catch basin for you sun shower now. Man what is this world coming too. We have two of them so we can get through the whole family. I usually go last.

This can be good or bad. Good because sometimes there is extra water left and Bad because sometimes there is hardly any water left.

The OEM shower head broke and was replaced under warranty. It broke again and was replaced under warranty. It broke again and warranty was up. We went to Lowe's and found one that could be mostly turned off, has 5 different settings and hasn't broken. I believe one time the hose connection split, two other times the shower head itself cracked near the hose connection.

The OEM version looked like it cost a couple of bucks and would crack easily. The one we bought cost around $18. You could find a cheaper one and install a shut off valve at the point where where the shower hose attaches to the outlet. I didn't think of that when I was looking for a reliable shower head. Most after market shower heads don't have a shut off built in, so that may be an easier solution for "Navy showers".

I have replaced all fixtures including the shower with house hold versions. RV look and are junk. Well most are.
