I had mine on for several years, like Moosetags, but have now taken them off. Everyone understood the WBCCI numbers, but almost everyone, even AirForums members would ask, "What are the blue numbers?" I decided I didn't need another sticker on the trailer.

Besides not knowing why it matters, why on earth would I want to display
the number on my trailer?
As far as that goes, why do we display our WBCCI numbers? Is it just tradition? Or will I ever be known as 1811? Or TAC #MS-10?

WBCCI numbers are displayed so one can identify another member using the directory. Forum numbers could be used the same way. Sort of identifying a kindred spirit. Jim

Yeah, but...
Airforums numbers aren't as obvious to me, and I don't have (or don't think I have) an Airforums number directory.
Airforums supporting members can be identified by the oval Airforums stickers like I have on my propane tank cover and entry door above/below my name.
For the most part it is common knowledge what the red numbers are- we have seen Airstreams with red numbers all our lives-

That's how we really know one another.
Never mind the our given names...
My big red 1811 isn't on the trailer, yet. If it isn't on there by the time we go to the service center in September I will get them to put the numbers on.
