Serial number of 1960s Globe Trotter ? What year is it ?

the paperwork says

SO 20 5501

year first sold 65...

but is it a 64 or 65 model ?

and is the 20 for 20ft long ?

Hopefully someone here can give you a definitive answer but my understanding is that the '64 Globetrotter was 19' and the '65 was 20'. Here's an excerpt from the Airstream website if you want to go that route:
