Serial Number Decoding

Hey!

So we have a late 60's maybe early 70's Globetrotter. I am actually trying to decode the serial number and after several sites I have visited I have not found anything to match what I have from the only number I could find on the trailer.

We were told it was 1970 although I am not sure.

This is what I got off the small plague on the side of trailer by door

F10 FJ

021T9 S186 4628

What I have learned about these numbers does not match but this is what I have decoded so far ( I think ) and need some help

it is an overland series
it is 21 feet long
Twin
1969
Built in California

Any help would be appreciated.

Looks right by the serial number. Got a picture of the front end including the windows? The front windows on a 1969 were a one year item only. They should have square bottom corners versus the rounded ones that came on the 1970 and later models.

If anyone wants to chime in my GT titled as 1970 has B21D0-S141 though it may be a 1969 as one front corner window is squared at lower outside corner and my titled 1970 over lander is O27D0-S204. Any help on the GT appreciated as I need to know which window to replace.

I thought I had replied to this yesterday but looking at that number this is what I can figure.
It is 21 foot
Double bed rear bath
1970
Built in California

You are right though the serial is a bit odd and what I learned about the squared off window that was only 1969.

Try this email address. He was a guy I chatted with at airstream as was super helpful. I just emailed him my serial and he confirmed what the trailer actually was.

Let me know how it goes!
