Satellite coax cable

We have a 2017 Flying Cloud FB Twin. We just bought a Dish Playmaker and Wally receiver and are trying to connect things. Should be straightforward - yes?
The owner’s manual says the receiver end of the coax cable is ‘under the Blu-ray’ player. Can anyone tell me how to get in there? Without breaking apart the wood enclosure!

Take out the Blu-ray player. It is Velcro’s in place. You can slide a plastic card between the layers of Velcro to release. Sat coax is in there. You can then fish it up through the hole where the hdmi cable comes up at.

Thanks, that did the trick. I hope Airstream engineers have improved that layout because it definitely is not consumer friendly. It was only the fact that my wife with her smaller hands/arms was able to reach it and snake it through the side opening that we succeeded, albeit with a few scratches and scrapes!

I got a call from the helpful folks at Toscano RV. Rick guided me to two, small, round, plastic screw covers on the right side of the enclosure. Removing the screws allows the whole enclosure to slide right and then lift up. Much easier to access the area beneath - no more scrapes or scratches :-)

SAT cable behind radio

Although the manual states that the cable will be found under the DVD player. That is not always the case.

In my 2016 International Signature I had to remove the DVD unit, remove the bottom railing of the sliding plexiglass doors to be able to remove the panel (with the two 110V wall plugs) to get to the cabling behind the radio. I found the SAT coax cable there (labelled SAT) among all the cables behind there.

The cable had two strips of electrical tape leading me to believe that the cable was taped to the rest of the cable harness but broke off during installation and remained walled in behind the panel.

This should be part of AS quality control.

Whoever gets chosen for the customer advisory board should make that rats nest a priority with Airstream. In my Classic it is embarrassing! Under the dinette seat is 3 times worse. My SAT cable was lost in the lower wall and I had to take the TV cabinet apart to find it.
