Rvrearviewcamera bought from Fred @ Alumilina

My wife and I bought an Rvrearviewcamera from Fred at the fall Alumilina 2 or 3 years ago. It is a wireless system that uses the I phone to connect to their camera mounted on the rear of the camper which all connects through a router mounted in the front cabinet of our 94 Sovereign. It has worked great....however after downloading the latest operating system to my I phone 7 it will not work and just gives me a message that the software does not have an update. I have tried contacting through Rvrearviewcamera's e-mail and it is no longer active. I have sent a message through this site to Fred but have received no reply. Anyone else had this problem or have an idea how to resolve this problem, Thanks, Jack

Thank you. I found the thread. I will have to see what I can do. I will certainly try the suggested app. Thanks again. I am not all that savvy on some of this stuff, but can usually work through. Still open to anything that makes it easier. Jack

The website listed at the bottom of some of these posts appears to be defunct IMO.

Good luck!

RV Rearview Camera System is the name of the thread where a solution was found. I don't know how to add a link to it but I did contribute so you should be able to find it. Jim

Sorry to hear that - seems the company may be out of business - the website doesn't work (404).

His account here hasn't posted since March of this year according to his profile.

If you're a WBCCI member, I suppose you could try contacting him that way.

My guess would be if you can't go back a version on the iOS or work out another solution, you may want to invest in a different system.

Here is the thread on how to fix this.

http://www.airforums.com/forums/f450/rv-rearview-camera-system-165559.html[/URL]http://www.airforums.com/forums/f450...em-165559.html

Fairly easy. Jim and I both fixed ours. Post if you have questions.

It is unfortunate however I believe we will be seeing this happening more and more. Many of the Apps I have bought in the past are no longer compatible with my Apple products after the most recent up dates. I do not know why this is happening other than the creator of the Apps have either gone out of business or moved on to something else. As I result I have not added a new App in a year or two
