RV Magazine

I will eventually purchase an Airstream, but can I get some recommendations of RV magazines so I can begin learning about RVing? I am interested in learning about places to go, etc.... We are leaning towards a Bambi Sport.

Since we are new to this, just wanting to learn. As far as places to go, I like the Airstream only parks I found. I like the ones in VA and PENN especially. I think the smaller parks, in woods, near streams, lakes etc... We are not interested in pools etc..., simply tv/Internet, sewer/water, electric connections.

Many of us are hooked on the AllStays app, and you might purchase that for starters.

Then, think about parts of the country you would like to visit, and look for campgrounds in that area.

Might look at the On the Road subforum here, as well, where there may be threads that interest you.

Trailer Life Magazine is a good one. It has stories on places to go and RV use and maintenance. RVparky.com is a good site for locating campgrounds and other places to camp. it also has many pictures and ratings of camping spots.

Think short trips before long ones. Crawl before you walk. Walk before you run a marathon.
