Lights

I just check the lights a bit earlier this morning and the tricked worked flawlessly.(From yours truly the LEWSTERMAN.)
There is no leaks anymore when it rained last night and it rained really hard.I had forgotten to screw down one light on the top and when I had cleaned it out yesterday and then check it this morning the condensation was back again in the only one without the fix.I believe this is a great fix.
The price for these items were a bit pricey though.
Screw - $.35
Washer - $.10
Rubber 0-ring - I cannot remember for sure but I do know it cost just less than $10.00.
The bad part about the price though was the fact that lowes or home depot in my area did not carry the bolts so I went to a bolt shop instead.Thats why the price was higher.Thats is ok though.I think this fix was worth every penny spent.
I seems pretty stange for an all american vehicle like this would use metric bolts instead of standard bolts.

Airstream

Airstream e-mailed me back today and they told me they will ship what I need to my house so I can do it myself. Also the best part is that they are going to send me some stainless steel screws for the running lights.
If any of you all still have warrenties I would e-mail or call them and let them know of the problem and get stainless screws from them.Talk about great service.
Also use the patented Lewster fix.It works great.

Light

Well I just got the package from the UPS as it was sitting at my front door this morning.I was really excited to get this thing fixed but when I had opened the package......It was the wrong color light fixture. They sent me an Amber one instead of the red one.
They did get one thing right though...I think. They said they would send me some stainless screws so I would not have any more problems but they look the same as the others that had rusted. Here is what they sent me.Oh yea...When looking at the light It would seem really hard for any water or moisture to get in the vehicle unless there was a hole there so after seeing this I do feel a bit better now.I think it is either the seal where the screw sets or the seal when the colored light cover sets. Those are the only 2 areas I can think of.
