rolling airstream commercial

it seems there is another a/s tv commercial to go with the touareg one and garnier fructis. something 'ranch land' tractor beam play station where a large magnet supposed attracts an older airstream and demolishes it. anyone see this yet?

rolling airstream

I have seen it. It is for a video game for the PS2 Ratchet and Clank. Sad to see, I also just watched Monster House where thy cut the back end off a 65 looked to be in good condition too. Well better than mine anyway

I was skeptical in a previous post about that being real vs computer graphics, but now that I've seen it, I agree it looks real. Sad! It's probably cheaper to find an old AS shell to roll for a commercial shoot than it is to develop it in the computer and do it graphically.

In a similar vein, I saw an old repeat of Charlies Angels, and one of the angels drove a Mustang II. Brand new at the time, but worth absolutely nothing now. In the show they needed to blow it up, so instead of blowing up a perfectly good new mustang II, they blew up an old 65 mustang. My jaw hit the floor to see them blowing up what was just an old mustang to them at the time, but is now a classic car, just to spare a car that today isn't worth a couple hundred bucks.

Well, let's hope we don't see many more commercials where they destroy AS for fun!

I could use one of those tractor beams when I'm needing some parts. Would have to aim it at the front or back and not the side because it causes extensive damage. It sould really be called "trailer beam." Thanks for the link Tim.
