Cool Restoration Project

Hello:

I just purchased a 1979 26' to 30' Airstream travel trailer. It is completely gutted out inside. Floor looks to be in good condition. Just a few questions:
Where could I find new replacement toilets, cabinets, kitchen, stove, sink, heaters and the such? Any web links will be greatly appreciated.
Also, if I we to replace the interior walls, what air tool (rivet gun) and what size rivets would I could purchase?
Just how expensive are Aluminum sheets for wall replacement. If we were to keep it vinyl walls, where could we find replacement interior wall parts?
Also looking for a new front door, the opening handle was broken off. Also looking for a new rear window.
I know so many questions, but we are new to the airstream community.
It is a Airsteam International Soverign, 26' to 30' long.
My email is sylvia@hoonah.net and my icq # is 162984062 and the yahoo id is dellpent2000
We have our hands full on this project and the walls and insulation I think is the first place to start and the plumbing next since the shell has a venting hole in the roof.

Thanks Darrell

If you use the "search" function on this forum, you will get the answers to most all of your questions. As for the vinyl walls, they are aluminum covered in vinyl, which can be stripped. Again, do a search using "vinyl stripping" or "wall stripping". Congrats on your new project.

Hey Alaska it may just be your lucky day. Here is a post from last November.

If you are lucky the guy may still have all of this stuff.
My advice is if he does ...go for it!
You will play heck finding it anywhere else but once in a blue moon.

Don't snivel at shipping price, chances are it's not gonna turn up under a glacier down the block!
If you snooze you prob'ly lose on this batch!

Although it's a different model & year...here's another one that may have some useable parts...76 Argosy. This one was just listed yesterday.
