Resources in Portland, Oregon?

I have a long way to go in the restoration process on our 1973 31' Sovereign. I have a gutted trailer and am just finishing installing the new floor. Unfortunately my time is limited to my so-called "spare time" and there is precsious little of that these days. I am wondering if anyone has any pointers to qualified service providers in the Portland, Oregon area. I would consider hiring a handy man with a reasonable level of AS experience to give me a hand to speed up the remodeling process. I would even consider letting someone help for free just for the experience if anyone reasonably handy was interested in that. Are there any students in air frame repair that could use some experience doing aluminum body work? I am open to suggestions about how to get this project under control.

Thanks,

Malcolm

You might want to contact Darol, just across the river in Ridgefield, WA. He restores AS for people, and has an excellent reputation from what I've been told. His email is landyachtdoc@earthlink.net

My RV tech is great and does not fear old Airstreams like all the others in town. I don't think he is your full restoration guy because he has a very busy shop but he will be able to tacke all your systems and tweak your details list that drive you crazy. Feel free to email me. gdlouie@msn.com
